Rutland-Windsor Supervisory Union |
COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEM OF SUPPORTS
Chapter 99 |
Each school in the Supervisory Union has an
educational support system which provides a network of supports for all
students. These interventions are designed to enable students to meet success
within the general curriculum regardless of categorical program. Educational
Support Teams meet on a regular schedule to discuss students, prescribe
interventions when needed, and evaluate results of such interventions. These
interventions are usually done prior to referral to any other programs. An
individual's parent, teacher, or the student him/herself, can make a referral
at any time. The following supports are available to all students if they
require them.
