A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Greetings,

As hard as it is to believe, we are nearing the end of our second marking period. A super duper snowstorm left us a couple of feet of snow as well as three days off! We are back at work, and now that our ski program is over, spring is looking pretty good!

The students of Plymouth are a very caring group. For several months they have been collecting bottles and cans to benefit the Service for Service Program. Their ambitious goal was to raise $500 to buy phone cards for families of deployed soldiers. They are very close to meeting this goal! On February 12, our students bowled for the benefit of the B+ Foundation, an affiliation of the American Cancer Society. After bowling only two games they raised an amazing $508! What compassionate kids!

We are embarking on an extensive all-school project to end our year and to celebrate the history of Plymouth Elementary School. One major component of this project is to contact and interview past students and teachers. This is one way to make this our last best year! Every ending is a new beginning, and deserves a celebration.
